 The River Of Knowledge was founded by Yusra Ammar, a British Scholar with a Middle Eastern background. Her struggle to come to Britain on her own to pursue her PhD in Comparative Literature was phenomenal and a typical example of Eastern women constant fight for equal rights.  In Britain and over the last 36 years the challenges she faced will be portrayed in these series of short stories in order to inspire other women in similar situation, and to enlighten the Western World about the Middle East through facts and fictions.
